He first had to judge how far he'd have to leap forward to clear the wall that is NOT close to the building and land on the strip of grass. am I crazy or does it sound like it meowed before jumping? There is a small black shape that seems to jump from the window right before the cat we see landing on the grass...it might have been a kitten.No indication as to what happened to that first object out of the window. I had a cat in the 80's who fell from my 10th floor apt onto a patch of grass directly below. I freaked but when I ran down he was seemingly ok. Took him to the vet: no fractures, nothing. Vet supplied pain meds for a few days but I think it was more for my sake.
