Cancel DU final semester examinations: NSUI to Delhi University

NSUI has written a letter to the Vice Chancellor of Delhi University, urging the varsity to cancel the upcoming end-term exams for final year students.

The National Students Union of India (NSUI), Congress’ student's wing, has written a letter to PC Joshi, Vice-Chancellor of Delhi University, asking him to consider the cancellation of the upcoming end-term examinations for final year students of the varsity. NSUI Secretary Lokesh Chug wrote in his letter that the final year exams should be cancelled in view of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic as it is not feasible to conduct the end-term exams as the nation is in the middle of a crisis. NSUI Secretary, while urging the authorities to cancel the exams, further wrote, “The situation is deteriorating and is out of control of the govt, In such conditions, it is not at all justified to put additional pressure on students regarding the examination.”
