Mumbai Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project: The National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) opened the financial bids for the contract of project management consultancy (PMC) services for the construction of civil works packages for the bullet train project. NHSRCL, responsible for executing the country's first bullet train project, said in a statement on Monday that the joint venture (JV) of Tata Consulting Engineers Limited emerged as the lowest bidder for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad high-speed rail PMC contract quoting an amount of Rs 111 crore. The tenure for the contract is 96 months.
