Britney Spears has pretty much been in the news this week owing to her plea in a US court to end her longstanding conservatorship. Britney took to Instagram to share a long note where she apologised for “pretending to be ok” all these years. The singer is seeking to end Jamie Spears’s (her father) control of her finances. In a court appearance (via video conference) this week, she described her conservatorship as “abusive”. Britney Spears, 39, wrote that she doesn’t want people to think her life is perfect since it is not. She shared the long note with a picture quote attributed to Albert Einstein. “I just want to tell you guys a little secret I believe as people we all want the fairy tale life and by the way I’ve posted my life seems to look and be pretty amazing I think that’s what we all strive for !!!! That was one of my mother’s best traits no matter how shitty a day was when I was younger for the sake of me and my siblings she always pretended like everything was ok.
