Bombay HC hints at CAG probe into Mumbai-Pune Expressway toll collection issue

The high court has also directed the advocate general of Maharashtra and the additional solicitor general to be present before the division bench of Chief Justice Dipankar Dutta and Justice GS Kulkarni during the hearing of a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) regarding the same. "We propose to direct the CAG to conduct a thorough investigation and submit a report," said the bench, adding that it wanted to hear both the advocate general and the additional solicitor general before making this decision.
