BMC to use 5-star hotels to treat mild Covid cases in Mumbai

The BMC has tied up with five-star and four-star hotels in Mumbai to treat mild coronavirus patients not requiring critical care.

In a move to free hospital beds, the BMC is planning to acquire rooms in four-star and five-star hotels to shift Covid-19 patients who have recovered in Covid hospitals and no longer need critical care. Patients in these hotel rooms will be managed professionally by staff from major Covid hospitals and their health will be monitored constantly. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has named a few five-star and four-star hotels to be used for the treatment of mild coronavirus patients who do not need critical care.
