In the wake of the row over filling of potholes, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has claimed that it has fixed over 30,000 potholes in Mumbai this year. This was done in just a period of five months. “The administration of Greater Mumbai Municipal Corporation has filled a total of 31,398 potholes on the roads within the limits of the Municipal Corporation from 9 April, 2021 to 8 September, 2021. Its area is about 1,56,910 square meters. In view of the fact that potholes are created on the asphalt roads due to rain water, the municipal administration has adopted a policy of cement concreting of major roads as well as small roads of 6 meters width,” BMC said.More Related News
