Black NYC Dems want more uniformed police in subways, poll finds

Safety on the subway is on the minds of likely New York City Democratic primary voters as they prepare to head to the ballot boxes and according to recent polling, Black voters are the most concerned.
Only 14% of Black Democratic primary voters said they did not think police presence on the subway should increase, while another 10% said they were unsure. The Latino community similarly agreed with 69% of respondents saying they would like to see an increased presence of uniformed police on the city’s public transportation system.More Related News
