BJP’s anti-women ideology why women are unsafe in UP: Gehlot backs Priyanka Gandhi on 40% ticket to women

Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot praised Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra over her announcement to give 40 per cent of party’s tickets to women in 2022 UP assembly polls. He claimed that the BJP's anti-women ideology is why women are unsafe in UP.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Tuesday came out in support of Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra's announcement regarding fielding women on 40 per cent seats in the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls.

CM Ashok Gehlot also took a swipe at the Bharatiya Janata Party, emphasising how it has not appointed a woman as a party president yet.
