BJP Leader Shot Dead Inside Gurgaon Showroom, Cops Looking For CCTV Clues

Sukhbir Khatana, a former vice-chief of Sohna Market Committee, was shopping inside a cloth showroom when he was attacked

A local BJP leader, Sukhbir Khatana, was shot dead by at five men while he was shopping for clothes inside a showroom in Gurgaon today. He was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, said Deepak Saharan, area police chief.

Police are checking CCTV camera footage from the spot, on Gurudwara Road near Sadar Bazaar.

He was a former vice-chairperson of the Sohna Market Committee in Gurgaon, and said to be close to Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.
