
Bittersweet reunion for family torn apart by Kabul airport attack

Nearly 10 days after a deadly suicide bombing outside the Kabul airport that left them injured and tore their family apart, 13-year-old Ahmad Faisal and 7-year-old Mina made it to the United States.
Their aunt Ferishta -- the family's last name is being withheld to protect their safety -- told CNN that the moment she saw the two children, who are being treated at the Walter Reed medical center outside of Washington, DC, "it was like the best, best day of my life, not only for me, for them as well, because they've been through so much from Kabul to here." But it was a bittersweet reunion.
