Thursday morning is seeing bitter cold temperatures and a chance for light flurries throughout the day for the London region, according to CTV London Meteorologist Julie Atchison.
The temperature feels like -10 C, feeling like -15 C with the wind chill.
“Winds out of the northwest as we head into the afternoon and that could generate some off lake flurries,” said Atchison.
“We could see trace amounts of snowfall, not expecting heavy accumulation, heading into the afternoon.”
As Friday evening rolls around, Atchison said there’s a chance for “measurable snow”, but not as much as was experienced Wednesday.
“This is a low-pressure area with a couple of fronts, it looks to wash out over the Great Lakes,” she said.
“It could bring one to three centimetres of snowfall Friday into Saturday.”
