Bike-borne miscreants snatch bag from woman in Delhi's Anand Vihar

Police have filed a complaint after two bike-borne miscreants snatched a bag from a woman in Delhi's Anand Vihar on Monday afternoon.

Two bike-borne miscreants robbed a woman on Monday afternoon when she was going to attend a function near CR Mall in Delhi's Anand Vihar. The victim identified as Ritu was going to attend a function near CR Mall on an e-rickshaw when the incident happened.

Police said on Monday afternoon, around 1.15 pm, two bike-borne miscreants came from behind and pushed Ritu, after she fell on the road from the moving rickshaw. The criminals managed to snatch the bag and fled away.

The victim sustained injuries and is undergoing treatment at a hospital. Police have registered a case of robbery on the basis of the statement given by eye-witnesses. Several police teams, including special staff and Station House Officers, have been constituted and Anand Vihar police officials have been roped in to solve the case.

Police said that they have nabbed a few suspects and further investigation is underway.
