Bihar women will receive Rs1 lakh incentive for clearing UPSC, BPSC prelims exams

The Bihar government has announced an incentive of Rs1 lakh for women candidates who clear the preliminary examinations of UPSC and BPSC .

General category women aspirants of central and state civil service examinations will now get a lump sum incentive of Rs 1 lakh for clearing concerned preliminary exams as per an announcement made by the Government of Bihar on Saturday.

The amount will be provided to the qualifying candidates by the Women and Child Development Corporation (WCDC) of the state government to aid them in preparing for the main examination and interview, according to an official.
