Bigg Boss 16: Tina Datta Loses Cool After Nimrit Kaur Becomes Captain

Friendships in the Bigg Boss house are known to be fickle and issues such as captaincy can often lead to fights even among the best of friends. This is exactly what has happened this season with Tina Datta and Nimrit Kaur locking horns over who gets to be captain this week.  It all started when the current captain of the house, Shiv Thakare was asked to name the next captain in the confession room. The promo video shows Shiv naming Nimrit as the captain much to the disappointment of Tina. An enraged Tina is seen calling Shiv and Nimrit fake friends, leading to an argument between Tina and Nimrit. Tina Datta is seen telling fellow housemates: “This guy [Shiv] can never be trusted. It is not about preference. It's about the discussion that all of us had.” She also accuses Shiv and Nimrit of being liars and says that Nimrit has become ill-mannered after being named captain. Tina also vows to ensure that Nimrit loses her captaincy in three days.

Earlier in the day, Shiv Thakare and Tina Datta were seen arguing about kitchen duties. When Shiva asks Tina to use the dustbin properly, Tina says, “Arey Shiv mera kaam kabhi aisa nahi hota hai ...chill kar na yaar,” adding that he is incessantly irritating her. Tina also adds that she has always kept the kitchen clean and that she doesn't have to be told how to work. Tina then tells Nimrit that she cannot work in an environment where people are constantly surrounding her. To this, Nimrit asks Tina to inform people so they can keep away from her beforehand so that nobody will disturb her.
