Biden says he would not back Israeli strike on Iran's nuclear sites
Fox News
President Biden said Wednesday that he would not support an Israeli strike on Iranian nuclear sites in retaliation to Iran's strike against Israel.
He said all the leaders on a recent call – France, Canada, Japan, Britain, Italy and Germany – agreed that Israel had the right to "proportionally" respond to Iran’s military strike. Sarah Rumpf-Whitten is a breaking news writer for Fox News Digital and Fox Business.
"We'll be discussing with the Israelis what they're going to do, but all seven of us [G7 nations] agree that they have a right to respond, but they should respond proportionally," he said. Story tips and ideas can be sent to sarah.rumpf@fox.com and on X: @s_rumpfwhitten.
