A new report by a conservative immigration group says that Venezuelan migration is driven by policy, not just by conditions in the socialist country.
It highlights how the number of Venezuelans coming to the border has skyrocketed from 50,000 in FY 21 to nearly 335,000 in FY 23. Adam Shaw is a politics reporter for Fox News Digital, primarily covering immigration and border security.
He can be reached at adam.shaw2@fox.com or on Twitter.
"This makes Venezuelans the second most commonly encountered nationality at the border," it says.
