
Bhutan PM Arrives In India For 1st Overseas Visit After Assuming Office

Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal who welcomed the Bhutan PM said that his visit is a testament to the ties of friendship between the two countries.
Bhutan's Prime Minister, Dasho Tshering Tobgay, arrived in the national capital on a five-day official visit to India at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
This is the first overseas visit of the Bhutanese PM who assumed office in January 2024.
He was received at the airport by Union Minister of State for Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Ashwini Choubey.
