Bengal can never be divided, says TMC MLA Raj Chakraborty over BJP leader's bifurcation demand

TMC MLA Raj Chakraborty hit out at BJP's Alipurduar MP John Barla over the demand of bifurcation, saying that 'Bengal is united and can never be divided'.

Trinamool Congress (TMC) MLA and film director Raj Chakraborty hit out at BJP's Alipurduar MP John Barla on Thursday over the demand of bifurcation, saying that 'Bengal is united and can never be divided'. "Bengal is one and united, it can never be divided. There is no division in Bengal. Their (BJP) plan to capture Bengal failed, hence they want to divide it," said the Barrackpore MLA. According to a report by PTI, the demand for a separate UT was raised and discussed at a closed-door meeting at the residence of BJP MP John Barla on Sunday. BJP MP from Jalpaiguri, Jayanta Roy, who was present in the meeting, supported the demand.
