Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's son Sajeeb Wazed has blamed "Pakistan-backed political parties" for the recent spate of attacks against the Hindu community in the country.
After Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina assured the Hindu community in the country of her commitment to providing them security, her son Sajeeb Wazed called for strict action against the perpetrators of the recent bout of communal violence.
Advisor to the Government of Bangladesh on Information and Communication Technology, Sajeeb Wazed blamed the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and the outlawed Jamaat-e-Islami for the attacks against Hindus and their temples that left seven dead in twelve districts of the country in October.
