Doha, Qatar: The General Directorate of Endowments at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has announced the receipt of a new investment endowment: a residential building located in Madinat Khalifa. 

This generous donation, made by a benevolent first-time benefactor, falls under the “Endowment of Endowments” trust, which is part of the Endowment Fund for Righteousness and Piety.

This initiative represents a sustainable investment aimed at creating new endowments annually from its proceeds.

According to the endowment deed, the donor stipulated that the entire proceeds from the building must be allocated to the “Endowment of Endowments,” with the condition that a new endowment is established annually from these funds. This innovative approach significantly reinforces the concept of endowment sustainability and ensures the multiplication of charitable benefits over the long term.

Director of the General Directorate of Endowments Eng Hassan bin Abdullah Al-Marzooqi, commented on this occasion, stating that the receipt of this real estate endowment in Khalifa City embodies the desire of philanthropists to solidify the spirit of sustainable giving. He emphasized that the “Endowment of Endowments” is not merely a contribution but a foundation for renewable endowments, whose proceeds will be channeled into various projects over the years.
