Doha, Qatar: Advisor to the Prime Minister and Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Majed bin Mohammed Al-Ansari strongly condemned the occupation forces' deliberate targeting of journalists in Gaza. 

An Israeli strike on a Gaza Hospital killed five journalists among more than 20 people.  

Speaking at the weekly media briefing, Dr Al-Ansari said that Qatar has repeatedly issued statements denouncing these targeted attacks on journalists in Gaza. "While the Israeli side has claimed in the past that some of these journalists are linked to Hamas, we want to make it very clear, that these kind of excuses were made by tyrannical regimes in the past whenever they wanted to silence the truth and this is not different from that," he said.
