Doha: Prime Minister of Malaysia HE Dr Anwar Ibrahim, affirmed that the attack on the Qatari capital, Doha, constitutes a barbaric act, a blatant violation of international law, and an unjustified provocation, noting that the gravity of the assault is heightened by Qatar's central role in mediation efforts.
Speaking at the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit today, the Prime Minister said that Qatar acted with wisdom to promote dialogue in partnership with Egypt and United States, emphasizing that the attack was deliberate.
He noted that Israeli aggression spared no country, with Gaza continuing to suffer unprecedented destruction before the world's eyes. Families and children remain buried under rubble, and the assault persists relentlessly.
The Malaysian Prime Minister pointed out that the brutal Israeli aggression extended to Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and Iran, highlighting Israel's impunity under international law, reflecting disdain for civilization and the international system.
He added that Israel openly declared there will be no Palestinian state, a direct renunciation of any UN resolutions affirming the Palestinian people's right to self-determination.
