Astronauts begin spacewalk to install solar panels on International Space Station

NASA astronaut Shane Kimbrough and European Space Agency astronaut Thomas Pesquet are conducting a second spacewalk Sunday to continue installation of new solar arrays at the International Space Station. The crew experienced technical difficulties on Wednesday's spacewalk.
After facing "technical delays" during a spacewalk on Wednesday, NASA astronaut Shane Kimbrough and European Space Agency astronaut Thomas Pesquet are conducting a second spacewalk Sunday to continue the installation of new solar arrays. The panels will help provide a power boost to the space station. The Sunday spacewalk was already on the schedule. The astronauts will just carry over some of Wednesday's work that was left unfinished due to the troubles encountered.More Related News
