
Astronauts begin spacewalk to install solar panels on International Space Station

NASA astronaut Shane Kimbrough and European Space Agency astronaut Thomas Pesquet are conducting a second spacewalk Sunday to continue installation of new solar arrays at the International Space Station. The crew experienced technical difficulties on Wednesday's spacewalk.
After facing "technical delays" during a spacewalk on Wednesday, NASA astronaut Shane Kimbrough and European Space Agency astronaut Thomas Pesquet are conducting a second spacewalk Sunday to continue the installation of new solar arrays. The panels will help provide a power boost to the space station. The Sunday spacewalk was already on the schedule.
