A man has been arrested in Assam's Morigan district for allegedly selling his two-and-a-half-year-old son for Rs 40,000 in order to buy drugs.
In order to buy drugs, a man allegedly sold his two-and-a-half-year-old son for Rs 40,000 in Assam's Morigan district. According to a Times of India report, the incident took place in Laharighat village in Morigaon, around 80 km east of the capital Guwahati. The accused, Aminul Islam, sold the child to one Sazida Begum, according to the complaint filed by the child's mother. Both Aminul Islam and Sazida Begum have been arrested by the police.More Related News
