Assam leader Akhil Gogoi, who was jailed over protests against contentious citizenship law, this afternoon walked out of prison after nearly two years.

The PIL said that currently the top court has 17 courtrooms and two registrar courtrooms and the Centre is going to demolish the entire building and Rs 800 crore is going to be spent on rebuilding 27 courtrooms with four registrar courtrooms.
"As the iron objects had reached his large intestine, our team decided to go for surgery with laparoscopy. It took three hours to remove the iron objects from the man's body," Mr Mandia said.
As per income tax rules, if a Permanent Account Number (PAN) is not linked with biometric Aadhaar, TDS is required to be deducted at double the applicable rate.
