Assam CM Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma rolled out a scheme which aims to provide social and financial security to women who lost their husbands due to Covid-19.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma on Sunday launched the 'Chief Minister’s Covid-19 Widows Support Scheme' to provide Rs 2.5 lakh to each widow who lost their husband due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
