Assam CM calls for 'zero-tolerance' policy on drugs, seized narcotics worth ?163 crore destroyed

Calling for a 'zero-tolerance' policy on drugs, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma presided over an event where seized narcotics worth Rs 163 crore were destroyed on Saturday.

Drugs worth Rs 163 crore were destroyed during a ‘Seized Drug Disposal’ event in Karbi Anglong’s Diphu in Assam on Saturday. The event was organised by the Assam Police to destroy narcotics seized over the course of the past few months.
