Assam Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2021: Final decision to be announced today

It is expected that the government will announce its final decision regarding the Assam HSCL and SSLC board exams 2021 today, June 18.

The government of Assam will most likely issue the decision regarding the conduction or cancellation of Class 10 (SSLC) and Class 12 (HSLC) board exams 2021 in the state. The government is yet to decide if the exams should be held in the current pandemic situation. Earlier this week, the Assam cabinet came out in support of the students urging the cancellation of the exams and recommended the state government not to conduct the board exams in the current environment for the safety of the students. The chief minister of Assam had earlier said that if the conduction of Class 10 and 12 board exams is not possible for this year, school-based evaluation and internal assessment will be considered to promote the students of both classes.
