Assam govt rolls out microfinance loan waiver scheme to give relief to 24 lakh women

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma said that under this scheme, of the total 24 lakh woman beneficiaries, including 59,468 women in Sonitpur district, each will get Rs 16,000 - Rs 25,000.

The Assam government on Sunday rolled out the microfinance loan waiver scheme to give relief to 24 lakh women in the state.
