As farmers retreat from Delhi borders, locals hopeful of getting businesses on track

The farmers' unions have decided to retreat from the borders of Delhi starting December 11. With this, the people living near Delhi borders are hopeful of a new start.
For over a year, the farmers' unions camped at the Tikri, Ghazipur and Singhu borders of the national capital, sending the local businesses in shambles. Locals from Singhu and Tikri borders suffered the most as a number of shops, including petrol pumps, were shut for over a year.
Now, as the Centre has rolled back the three farm laws, the farmers' unions have decided to retreat from the borders of Delhi starting December 11. With this, the people living near Singhu and Tikri borders are hopeful of a new start.
