Hari Om, a resident of Parshera village, in Fardhan Police Station area, has been driving the vehicle of Union Minister of State Ajay Mishra Teni for nearly seven years. Ever since Teni was an MLA, Hari Om has been his driver and would take care of his own ailing father, Radheshyam Mishra, as well as all the expenses of the house. He had four siblings. He could not pursue his education due to a financial crisis, and in the pursuit of earning a living, he decided to become a driver.Hari Om's mother Nisha Mishra, 50, said that he was the only earning member in the family and everyone was dependent on him.
"There is a loan for the marriage of two daughters and my husband is terminally ill and cannot move from the chair," she said, adding that although they received compensation from the government, they demand justice for their son.
