A philosopher at heart, Gurmit's motto is to stop farmers from burning stubble, which leads to pollution both in Punjab and Delhi-NCR.
While the entire Delhi-NCR region was choking and grappling for breath, a man sitting 450 kms away in Amritsar, had taken up the mantle of stopping farmers from burning stubble, which contributes immensely to the pollution in the national capital.
Meet Gurmit Singh, a 50-year-old man, crusading against stubble burning. His companion in this quest is his bicycle and a loudspeaker.
