
Arizona students raise nearly $10K for heart surgery for teacher's wife: 'Made me cry'

A Phoenix, Arizona, teacher felt honored and emotional after a group of his high school students raised nearly $10,000 for his wife's open-heart surgery. Fox News Digital spoke with the couple.
"A teacher like Mr. Guy — who gave so much to us when he was down in a situation like this — was able to receive back because of his kindness and all he did for us," Bond added. "I think just trying to spread more kindness in the world — you'll get a lot more back." "The students did it on their own. They did it without prompting from a teacher or anybody else."
