As of 6 o'clock this morning, Student Transportation Services of Thunder Bay said student transportation is scheduled to run, however, due to weather and road conditions, bus delays may occur or some roads or routes may not be be serviced. For reported delays click here.
East of Thunder Bay Transportation Consortium is reporting some cancellations and changes to its routes this morning. The Purple bus that goes from Manitouwadge to Marathon servicing Ecole Secondaire Cite-Superieure, and Holy Saviour School is cancelled Friday, Nov 11 due to freezing rain. This bus will still pick up in town Marathon students.
The two buses that service Pays Plat and go to Holy Angels School, Schreiber Public school and Lake Superior High school will be combined on Friday, Nov 11. There may be slight delays on these routes.
Algoma and Huron-Superior Transportation Services has reported due to the poor road conditions in Hornepayne, all school related transportation services are cancelled today for all boards.
No school closures have been announced yet.
