Angolan man threatens to jump from 12th floor of Noida building after fight with girlfriend

An Angolan man threatened to jump from the 12th floor of an under-construction building in Greater Noida after a fight with his girlfriend. The police and his friends brought him down safely.

After a fight with his girlfriend, an Angolan man climbed to the 12th floor of an under-construction building in Greater Noida and threatened to jump on Sunday. For around two hours, he stayed there in an attempt to persuade his partner who was angry with him in the style of the iconic Bollywood film Sholay. A crowd of people gathered at the spot. They informed the police who reached the site. Faced with a language barrier, the police took the help of African organisations to communicate with the man.
