Angered over children playing and bursting firecrackers, a man in Uttar Pradesh's Banda district allegedly threw acid on two women in his neighbourhood.

Enraged by children playing and bursting firecrackers, a man in Uttar Pradesh's Banda district allegedly threw acid on two women in his neighbourhood on Friday.

The incident took place in Kailashpuri area of Banda. The man, who runs a fruit cart, was reportedly annoyed at the children making noise and bursting crackers. He asked them to stop playing and when they did not agree, the man allegedly slapped a boy.
