A full bench of the High Court headed by Chief Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra adjourned all the to December 27 in order to have a clear picture on which is awaiting the Governor's assent.
Advocate-General S. Sriram argued that there cannot be a pre-emptive adjudication of any issues by the High Court at this stage as they were in the domain of the Legislature.
He insisted the court could not accept the contention of the petitioners about the continued relevance of their writ petitions until , gives his assent to the Bill, and that there is no guidance role for High Court in relation to the Legislature's future course of action.
