Andhra Pradesh Assembly passes resolution for Atmanirbhar Viksit Bharat - Swarnandhra Vision, targeting transformative growth by 2047.
The Legislative Assembly passed a resolution on Thursday (March 5, 2026) for realizing the Atmanirbhar Viksit Bharat - Swarnandhra Vision by 2047.
Introducing the resolution, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu called upon each one of the MLAs to contribute to the mission so that Andhra Pradesh (AP) would become a progressive State by fostering growth across social, economic and cultural sectors.
He observed that the ultimate objective of the NDA Government was to establish AP as a leader in all sectors in alignment with the Viksit Bharat-2047 goals.
The Government of AP targeted to transform the State into a ₹308 lakh crore economy by 2047 thereby making a major contribution to India’s emergence as a global power.
Further, the CM said the State government’s focus was on the development of local industries, increasing per capita income, and maintaining an annual growth rate of 15%.
He observed that the cooperation of the House was essential to achieving the combined goals of the Central and State governments.

Bulrushes in wetlands are not encroachments, but ‘legal homes’ to birds in the crake and rail family and warblers, so government line agencies ought to tread on them thoughtfully
