Andhra police arrest 8 men involved in TDP leader’s murder, YSRCP member named prime accused

A day after TDP leader Thota Chandraiah was murdered, Guntur rural police traced and arrested all the eight men who committed the crime. The main accused was YSRCP member Chinta Sivaramaiah.
Guntur Rural Police, on Friday, January 14, arrested all the 8 accused involved in the murder of (Telugu Desam Party) TDP party cadre Thota Chandraiah. The late TDP leader was killed yesterday in his village, Gundlapadu, in Andhra Pradesh’s Guntur district.
The murder took a political turn as TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu himself participated in the funeral of his slain party leader. There was pressure on the police to crack the case soon.
