Parineeti Chopra-starrer Saina, which is based on the life of Saina Nehwal, is all set to hit theatres on March 26. It is known that Parineeti was not the first choice for the role of Saina. Earlier, Shraddha Kapoor was signed for the film. She had even started preparing for her role and met the badminton champion at her home with her family. But soon, we heard that Parineeti Chopra had replaced Shraddha for the Amole Gupte directorial venture. In a recent interview to Bollywood Hungama, Amole Gupte opened up about why Shraddha Kapoor left. The director revealed that as Shraddha Kapoor was weak after her dengue diagnosis she opted out of the film. He added that Street Dancer 3D also needed a heroine.
