Amitabh Bachchan's Birthday Surprise On KBC Set "Took A Lot Of Secrecy," Writes Abhishek

Abhishek Bachchan recently surprised his father Amitabh Bachchan on the sets of Kaun Banega Crorepati ahead of his 80th birthday. The surprise also included Jaya Bachchan. Today, on Big B's birthday, the special episode is scheduled to air. Sharing a video of all the efforts that went behind planning a surprise for his father on Instagram, Abhishek Bachchan wrote, "It took a lot of secrecy, a lot of planning, a lot of hard-work and a lot of rehearsals to get it right. But then again, he deserves no less! It was very emotional to be able to surprise dad and celebrate his 80th Birthday at the place he loves the most, his workplace. My gratitude to the entire team of Sony and Kaun Banega Crorepati for helping me do this and making tonight's episode so special for my father. Do try and see it if possible. In the video, Abhishek Bachchan can be seen planning and rehearsing with people present on the sets of Kaun Banega Crorepati. A few frames later, Abhishek can be seen sharing a hug with his father. Jaya Bachchan too joins the father-son duo. Later, Big B is seen getting emotional, cutting cake and greeting his fans along with Abhishek Bachchan.

Abhishek's post caught the attention of his sister Shweta Bachchan, whose comment read, "Just the promo is making me emotional. Love you all."

Navya Nanda, Vicky Kaushal, Genelia D'Souza, Riteish Deshmukh, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Hrithik Roshan's ex-wife Sussane Khan too commented on the actor's post.
