Amit Shah's Appeal To AIMIM's Asaduddin Owaisi: "Accept Z Security"

Home Minister Amit Shah has urged AIMIM chief and MP Asaduddin Owaisi to accept 'Z' category security cover from the centre after shots were fired at his car last week while he was returning to Delhi after campaigning in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut.

"There is a threat to Owaisi's security... the government has decided to provide 'Z' category security (with a bulletproof) car but Owaisi has refused. I request, through the members of the House, that he accept this security cover," Mr Shah said in Parliament.
