QNACairoHis Highness the Amir of State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has sent a written message to President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah Al Sisi. The message pertains to bilateral relations and the means to enhance them.The message was delivered by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani during a meeting with the Egyptian president in Cairo on Tuesday.At the outset of the meeting, the FM conveyed the greetings of HH the Amir to the Egyptian president, and His Highness’ wishes of good health and happiness to him, and for the Egyptian people continued progress and prosperity.For his part, Egyptian president entrusted the FM with his greetings to HH the Amir, wishing His Highness good health and happiness, and the Qatari people further progress and growth. The meeting reviewed bilateral relations, in addition to developments in Palestine and the region.The FM expressed appreciation for the pivotal role played by Egypt in protecting the Arab national security and defending the Arab world’s causes, as well as its efforts in establishing security, stability, and development in the region.
