Doha, Qatar: The Amir, HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, received a phone call Sunday from his brother, the President of the sisterly Republic of Iraq, HE Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid.
HE the Iraqi President expressed the Republic of Iraq’s solidarity with the State of Qatar following the Iranian aggression against it, and reassured himself about the situation in the country. For his part, HH the Amir expressed his thanks and appreciation to HE the Iraqi President for his sincere fraternal sentiments, praising the strong brotherly relations that bind the two sisterly countries.
The call also reviewed the latest regional and international developments of mutual interest.
