New Delhi: The initial public offer of specialty chemicals maker Ami Organics was fully subscribed within the first few hours on the opening day on Wednesday and closed with 1.90 times subscription. The IPO received bids for 1,24,03,176 shares against 65,42,342 shares on offer, translating into 1.90 times subscription, as per data available with the NSE. The category for Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) was subscribed 1.39 times, non-institutional investors 40 per cent and Retail Individual Investors (RIIs) 2.82 times.
