Sunny Deol's Gadar 2 continues to roar at the box office. The film crossed the Rs. 300-crore mark on Friday and is showing no signs of slowing down. Now, in an interview, Ameesha Patel talked about the “driving forces” of the film. As per the actress, “The general consensus is that Sakeena's beauty, daintiness, elegance, emotions and magical chemistry with Tara are the driving forces of the film and Sunny's [Deol] dhamakedar action and dialogues made them whistle and clap.” Ameesha believes that the audience received a blend of all the things they wanted – “romance, chemistry, a larger-than-life quotient and the good-looking pair of Tara and Sakeena”, News18 Showsha reported. While Anil Sharma's Gadar 2 is shattering box office records, reports of Gadar 3 in the line up sent the internet into a frenzy. Shedding light on Gadar 3 rumours, Ameesha Patel said that she has “no clue” about it, and she doesn't think anyone has given a “very serious thought” to it as of now. Ameesha said, “To be honest, I've no clue about Gadar 3. It's too premature [to speak about it]. No one even expected this kind of madness. I don't know what might happen. Right now, everyone's just enjoying the euphoria of a super successful film that has gone on to create history again. I don't think anyone has given it a very serious thought as of now.”
During the chat, Ameesha Patel expressed that she is overwhelmed with all the love coming her way for Gadar 2. The Anil Sharma directorial would be another feather in her hat after blockbuster hits like Humraaz (2002), Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai (2000) and Gadar: Ek Prem Katha (2001). “I think I've set the benchmark really high for my peers and fans,” she added.
