An Amber Alert issued for six-year-old twins in Montreal has ended.
Montreal police confirmed Tuesday evening that the two girls, aged six, and their mother, were all found safe and sound in Saint-Alexis-des-Monts, in Quebec's Mauricie region, which is roughly 140 kilometres north of Montreal.
The mother was set to be questioned by investigators Tuesday night.
Police did not release any further details.
