DOHA: Saudi Arabia’s Abdullah Alsharbatly stole the spotlight by clinching the CSI5* 1.50m Faults & Time title as the third and penultimate Tour of the inaugural H H The Father Amir’s Prix got underway at Al Shaqab yesterday.
Partnering the 17-year-old stallion Boeckmanns Lord Pezi Junior, Alsharbatly delivered a clinical performance to secure victory in an impressive time of 64.45 seconds.
Italy’s Roberto Previtali, riding I’M Special Mess PS, finished second after clocking 66.99 seconds, while Austria’s Max Kuhner completed the podium in third place aboard Eic Cooley Jump The Q with a time of 67.46 seconds.
Saudi Arabia’s Abdullah Alsharbatly clinched the CSI5* 1.50m Faults & Time title with Boeckmanns Lord Pezi Junior.
“I am very happy with the victory. It was a really difficult track. Roberto was fast, but I followed a good plan and it worked for me,” Alsharbatly said after his win.
