Alia Bhatt heads to Hollywood, joins Gal Gadot in Netflix’s ‘Heart Of Stone’

Alia Bhatt is all set to make her Hollywood debut, with Netflix thriller Heart of Stone. Helmed by Tom Harper, the movie also features Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot and actor Jamie Dornan. Netflix made the announcement on their official social media handles on Tuesday. Sharing a photograph of Alia Bhatt on Instagram, Netflix captioned the post. Gal Gadot also took to Instagram to share a picture of herself from the film’s set. She wrote, “Rachel Stone. Nice to meet you #HeartOfStone.” The script is penned by Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder. According to the official logline, the film revolves around Rachel Stone (Gadot) an intelligence operative, the only woman who stands between her powerful, global, peace-keeping organization and the loss of its most valuable — and dangerous — asset. The film is produced by Skydance’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger, along with Mockingbird’s Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn, and Pilot Wave’s Gadot and Jaron Varsano. Details about Alia's character are currently under wraps. Alia’s latest release Gangubai Kathiawadi has been doing well at the box office, and received well by critics, too. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the period film presents the story of Gangubai, one of the most powerful, loved and respected madams from Mumbai's red-light area Kamathipura during the 1960s.
